Have you ever wondered what makes a person snap? What causes a normal, quiet, everyday citizen, loving mother, or doting father to lose it all and fight like a caged animal? What can cause a small village to rise up and rebel against an oppressive police force and start killing them? What is the switch that gets flipped that causes a city to pour two million people into the streets, chanting and demanding to be heard by their government?

It is increasingly clear that the European people are not willing to follow the policy of automatic alignment with NATO planned by their political leaders. Amid the wave of protests spreading across the continent, Germany has been the scenario of recent unrest against high gas prices, arms supply to Kiev and the risks posed by the energy security crisis. More than that, German internet users have organized to make virtual protests against NATO due to the evident American participation in a sabotage operation against the Nord Stream’s gas pipelines.

Crews restored power to more neighborhoods across Havana on Saturday after a second day of protests over ongoing blackouts in Cuba's capital, including some of the largest demonstrations since widespread anti-government rallies in July 2021.

At least one of the protests Friday night in the western seaside borough of Playa swelled in size to several hundred people who chanted "turn on the lights," as well as slogans disparaging President Miguel Diaz-Canel.
